It's with great enjoyment that I listen to the songs and arrangements created so many years ago.  We had two new members, David Will and Russ Taff, join us in 1976 and I feel a special sound was created.  A new record label for The Imperials, Word Records, and a new producer, Gary S. Paxton, was added to the mix.  We recorded for weeks in a studio on Music Row nearly thirty years ago.

Gary S. Paxton was on a crazy diet during the recording and ate cold canned spinach in all the sessions!  But he did have great ideas... like switching the string and horn parts in the orchestration on some of the songs which gave it a completely different sound.  The project was completed in early 1977 and turned over to the executives and that was the last time we heard it.  We were told the project would not be released as our first album so we went back into the studio and recorded the "Sail On" album which set the course for our future.  I've often wondered what happened to this "LOST ALBUM"  I think many will enjoy what they hear on this special project..."
